Fathers are the male parent of the child. Fathers can be legally and paternally connected with his children. But fathers may also be in a relationship with the child through a parental, legal and social capacity , which has specific rights and obligations. The father of the biological child is the male genetic participant to the development of the child via sexual relations and the donation of sperm. A legal obligation to provide financial assistance or legal aid could be due by the biological father to the child he hasn't fostered. Adoptive fathers are those who became the child's parents via adoption. Someone who is considered to be a father, but isn't legally acknowledged as such is referred to as"a putative father. Stepfathers are men who are husbands of the child's mother. They can form an extended family, but they generally don't have the legal rights or obligations of parents with respect to their child.
