Awkwafina started out as a American musician and rapper performing sly tunes that dealt with questions of race and sexual identity with a comedic twist. Prior to her move into Hollywood the singer had the opportunity to release a number of songs. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens.
